3D modelling and Zbrush, 15 ECTS

3D modelling and Zbrush is an internetbased course providing and introduction to Pixologic’s sculpting and painting application Zbrush. In essence this is a digital sculpting course. It covers how to make high-poly, photo realistic digital sculptures. We will also be exploring the different methods of using content created with Zbrush elsewhere in other 2D and 3d applications. In short, you’ll be using both sides of your brain and learning how to add Zbrush to your work-flow.

Introduction to Special Effects, 15 ECTS

Introduction to Special Effects, 15 hp is an internetbased course providing a foundation to digital effects. Students will learn the theory behind building convincing effects through class  assignments and practical application. The course will focus on best practices, project management and production principles. The course language is English. The primary software being used during the course is Adobe Aftereffects. A number of complementary, open-source applications and utilities will also be explored.
